Yes, we can see now. Gas has never been more than what it is now...And besides, I doubt it would be any different with McCain. Both politicians are among the worst in quite a while. Many people could do better. But who am I to judge, especially when Obama has not served yet?..

i agree. its so great to see propoganda NOT infavor of the left. it is shockingly different from the rest of the leftist propoganda we are indoctorined with everyday. So great that someone points out the GOVT makes MORE off gas prices than oil companies. If the GOVT took in more money from your business than you, would that be okay?But what the hell, give the middle class a break. The class the pays 3% of our taxes needs it.

Exactly. Foreign oil represents a breach of national security - especially in future generations. Most of the US money that is paid out for crude oil to OPEC, winds up in the hands of terrorists. It gets laundered through the world markets, and ultimately funds radical Islamist groups - ie Al Quaida, Jihad, Hezzbollah, etc...I'd be willing to bet that the 911 attacks were ultimately funded this way. They used our own money to fund an attack on us. And, they'll do it again! And again!...

I agree totally aquarius,take a scary look at Dubai.There is no middle class.The rich elite of the world set up shop there and have workers that get paid slave wages with no benefits of any kind and live in slums.I saw a documentary on this and everything that is wrong with the elite corporate world is in that city.Think of all our money that went out of our country from oil that went there and built a playground for the Elite with no rules for themWe can become the next3rd world country to them
